Dr Andrew Ashley has been awarded a Royal Society University Research Fellowship.

Congratulations to Dr Andrew Ashley on being awarded a Royal Society University Research Fellowship.  The Fellowships are for outstanding scientists in the UK at an early to mid-stage of their career who have the potential to become leaders in their field.

Dr Ashley joined the Department of Chemistry in October 2010 as both an Imperial College Junior Research Fellow and non-stipendiary Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Research Fellow. His interests lie in the development of new systems capable of heterolytic H2 activation, and their subsequent reaction chemistry with CO2/CO or N2, to produce hydrocarbons or NH3 respectively.

Dr Ashley's first published paper since joining Imperial is one of the top ten (No. 7) accessed in Dalton Transactions for April. Read the article
