On Monday 9 July 2007, Imperial College London will officially celebrate its one hundredth birthday with a special ceremony in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen.

On Monday 9 July 2007, Imperial College London will officially celebrate its one hundredth birthday with a special ceremony in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh. During the ceremony, The Queen will present Imperial with its new Royal Charter, marking our independence from the University of London. The Queen will also award the first Imperial College degrees to several honorary graduates who will be wearing the new academic dress of the College.

The live stream will commence at approximately 15.10 GMT as the ceremony begins, and will conclude at 15.45 GMT when the Royal party depart. The ceremony will be recorded and will be available to download from the Centenary website shortly after the event.
