CBIS Military Academics Honoured in Queen's Birthday List 2015

Clinical Lead and Associated Academic for the Centre for Blast Injury Studies have been honoured in the Queen's birthday honours list 2015.
Two academics in the Centre for Blast Injury Studies have been honoured in the 2015 Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Professor Jon Clasper, clinical lead for the Centre and Professor Peter Mahoney, associated with the Centre through his leadership in anaesthesia and critical care, have been appointed to “Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire”.
The UK honours system rewards people for merit, service or bravery from every section of the community.
