Professor Jennifer Whyte wins prestigious Project Management Journal award

Professor Jennifer Whyte, Director of the Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation at Imperial College London has recently won the prestigious 2020 Project Management Journal Paper of the Year Award for her paper ‘How Digital Information Transforms Project Delivery Models’.

The paper, which addresses the question: How does the increasingly pervasive use of digital information transform project delivery models? has been made freely available to all – read it at: https://www.doi.org/10.1177/8756972818823304

Professor Whyte says: “I’m delighted and honoured to receive this award from the Project Management Journal, it has been great to work with many leading practitioners from major projects at Heathrow, London 2012 Olympics, Crossrail and High Speed 2  and hope that the open access to the paper makes the findings of this research on the changing nature of project delivery available to practitioners as well as researchers to influence the next generation of research and practice.”

Project Management Journal is the journal of the Project Management Institute. The full set of papers of the year are available from the Project Management Journal website: https://journals.sagepub.com/page/pmx/paperoftheyearawards
