IMPERIAL COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE: Post-Study Work Workshops - Thursday 8 & 21 October 2009
Post Study Work Visa (PSW).
For Imperial College International Graduates/Masters students who have recently completed their course or have already graduated and would like to apply for a visa to remain in the UK to work or look for work for a period of 2 years.
To apply you will need:
- A Tier 1 PSW Visa Letter from Registry confirming that you have successfully completed your course (and, if you haven’t yet graduated, that your degree certificate will be awarded in due course. UG results are usually published in July/ August and PG results in November / December)
- Original Degree Certificate (if available)
- Post Study Work application form from the International Office website: www.imperial.ac.uk/international
- Maintenance funds
If applying within the UK a minimum balance of £800 in your bank account for a continuous 3 month period at the time of applying or £2800 if applying from overseas - Application Fee = £500 if applying in the UK and £265 if applying from overseas. You may apply for a PSW visa within 12 months of having been officially informed of your degree results by the Registry
The International Office will be holding Post Study Work Workshops on 8th Oct, 10:00-11:00 (Huxley Lt 144) and 21st Oct, 15:00-16:00 (Pippard LT, Sherfield Building). Sign up at the International Office or email international@imperial.ac.uk.
