Looking for advice? We've got you covered.

We know that, for many of you, this period will be the final push before the start of the exam season. You may have plans to start your revision (and eat copious amounts of chocolate) but the vacation is also a good time for career planning. Make the most of the Careers Service website for advice on CVs, interviews, evaluating job offers and more.

Do you have a burning question about your career path? Know what you’d like to do but unsure how to get there? Or maybe you just need advice on how to get started. Whatever the stage you’re at in your career journey, you can book an appointment to discuss your situation with one of our careers consultants.

Our Easter opening hours

The Careers Service will be operating at vacation hours until the summer term starts on Monday 27 April. This means that we will be online only on Mondays and Fridays, and available online and on campus Tuesdays – Thursdays.

Please be aware that we will also be observing Imperial’s Easter closure days from Thursday 2 – Wednesday 8 April.

Looking ahead to the summer

Be sure to save the dates for our two events taking place next term!

The PhD Careers Fair is taking place on Thursday 28 May. It is a recruiting event specifically for employers from various disciplines, including life sciences, maths and engineering, interested in hiring candidates with doctoral degrees.

The Summer Recruitment Careers Fair is taking place on Tuesday 9 June. It brings together companies from all industries looking to recruit Imperial students. A range of organisations attend, from large multi-nationals to small start-ups, providing an excellent chance to meet a variety of employers.

Careers fairs are open to all Imperial students and recent alumni. There is no need to book in advance but please remember to bring your Imperial ID card to sign in to the event.

That being said, it is also important to make time to rest this vacation. Relax and recharge ahead of the summer term; it’s sure to be a busy one!
