AB - Photorefractive GaAs/AlGaAs multiple quantum well (MQW) devices whose high carrier mobility's lead to fast response times were investigated. Response time was faster than 0.4 ms which permitted images to be captured much faster than standard (30 frames/sec) video rate. It was demonstrated that holographic images can be directly recorded on to a conventional video cassette recorder. Images through to 14 MFP double pass scattering solution were obtained with transverse resolution of 19μm and the depth resolution was measured to be 60μm.
