The Physics Department of Imperial College welcomes their new international students and we are committed to supporting them throughout their undergraduate studies.  We are very keen that our international students feel actively encouraged and supported to contribute to our physics community and this webpage has been created to help you find useful information.

The International Student Support Office

The College’s International Student Support Office provides high quality, free, impartial and confidential immigration information and advice to Imperial College students (including unconditional offer holders) and recent graduates.  The office is normally open Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm, except Wednesday, when it is open from 10am to 4pm.  It offers a drop-in “quick query” service on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. Pre- booked appointments are usually available on Tuesdays from 2 – 5pm and Thursdays 10am to 1pm. To book an appointment call, 020 7594 8040, email, or call into the office in person. The Centre for Academic English

The College’s Centre for Academic English (CAE) delivers Science communication courses and workshops for undergraduate students. These include evening courses and Communicating Science Successfully sessions.  In addition the CAE also offer listening and speaking courses to develop the communication skills to successfully participate in academic and social contexts across College. If you are having any problems or issues that you would like to discuss, your first port of call should be your personal tutor. You can also visit Amy and Kayleigh in the Undergraduate Office or make an appointment to see the Student Liaison Officer or the Senior Tutor.
