April 2025

  • GS gave an invited talk to the Inaugural Conference of the Bioelectricity Cluster, in Oxford. The talk was titled "Bioelectric Patterns in Plant Tissue Regeneration" and was very well received.
  • Three undergraduate students are joining the lab for their Final Year Project: Annette Reijank, Anita Jennings and Brishti Miller. They will be working on various aspects of root regeneration. Have fun!

Zoe Nahas visited us and gave a talk at our department's “Cell and Developmental Biology Networking Event. She did her PhD with Ottolyne Leyser at Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge and is now a fresh post-doc with Christian Fankhauser at the University of Lausanne. Zoe gave a fantastic talk titled "Regulation of shoot branching in Arabidopsis: competition between modular parts".
