Postgraduate Open Day 2012.

Come to visit the College campus at this year's Postgraduate Open Day! 

Each d epartment will have a stall with staff who will be able to advise you on research opportunities and Masters programmes available at Imperial. You will also be able to obtain advice on the application process, accommodation, fees and funding.


November 2012

Studentship.

A BBSRC DTP supported postgraduate studentship has been awarded to the Lab.

This will support a student in the M.Res. + Ph.D. program (1+3 years) to work in our lab on a project on Arabidopsis root regeneration, in collaboratotion with Dr. Chris Dunsby (Dep. Physics / Photonics Group) and with the joined supervision of Dr. Colin Turnbull (Dep. Lif e Sciences / Cell & Molecular Biology).


October 2012

Research Grant.

Research Grant from The Royal Society has been awarded to the Lab.

It will be used for microscopy equipment.

Organizing a conference.

Together with Dr. Robert Endres (Dep . of Life Sciences / CISBIO), we started organizing t he multi-disciplinary conference "Physics of Emergent Behaviour", 24-26 June 2013, Brighton, U.K.

This conference is co-sponsored by Imperial College London and the Intitute of Physics

Visiting the Goldstein lab.

G. Sena visi ted the group of Prof. Ray Goldstein, at the Center for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge, where he presented an informal talk, titled "Imaging and Modelling Organ Regeneration in Plants".
