Applying for a position (CVs, applications, interviews, negotiating)
Once you’ve decided what roles you want to apply for, you need to ensure your CV, cover letter, application form and other supporting documents are as strong as possible. You will then need to prepare for interviews. You will need to:
- translate your specialist research skills and experience
- show that you understand what the recruiter needs
- make what you offer easily understandable to a non-academic employer.
