Frequently asked questions
CPSE Post Doc Reps
We are currently recruiting for two Post Doc Reps to represent the Research Associates in the Centre. If you are interested in becoming a representative and would like more information, please contact Miss Senait Selassie: firstname.lastname@example.org.
CPSE Student Reps
We have two designated CPSE Student Reps. Maria Papathanasiou and Mark Allenby work tirelessly on behalf of CPSE students. They represent student views to CPSE Management and provide feedback from students. It is essential that students make efforts to communicate issues of concern. This can be positive feedback on aspects which work well (and thus might be shared as good practice) as well as concerns about issues which negatively affect the student experience. The Student Reps will also be invited to comment on, and provide input to proposed changes to procedures and will decimate information to their peers. The overall aim is to improve the learning experience for CPSE students.

How can I submit Unpublished Papers to the CPSE Report Series?
All CPSE Students and Post Docs are required to submit their unpublished papers to the CPSE Report Series. Papers should be submitted at the time of submission to a journal.
The papers will be put on a secure section of the CPSE website accessed only by CPSE Members including industrial company members. You can also use this resource to find unpublished papers by other CPSE researchers.
Every researcher who submits a new paper will be entered in a draw, to take place once per term. The winner will receive £30 in Amazon vouchers. There is no limit on the number of entries per person. Please get approval from your supervisor before submitting a paper to Miss Senait Selassie: email@example.com
CPSE Industrial Consortium Members and CPSE Staff and Students can view the unpublished reports by logging on the 'Members Only' section of the website. If you have forgotten your password or have problems login on, please contact Miss Senait Selassie: firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the CPSE Industrial Consortium?
Whilst you are in CPSE, you have the added advantage of being able to interact and network with industrial companies. This unique access to multinational companies is provided through the Centre’s Industrial Consortium. The Centre holds annually an Industrial Consortium Meeting and the event features Research Poster Session and Recruitment Session and presentations from Industrial Companies. This privileged interaction in the past has led to our students doing secondments and gaining employment with our company members. The Industrial Consortium Meetings take place on the first Thursday and Friday in December. It is a requirement for all CPSE students to attend the Industrial Consortium Meetings . The next meeting will be on 7th and 8th December 2017.
Can I attend CPSE Seminars?
CPSE has been running a successful Seminar Series for many years and each year we invite distinguished national and international experts to the Centre. The seminars are put together by Dr Ruth Misener, Dr Panos Parpas and Miss Cristina Romano. All CPSE members can attend the seminars. Registration is not required.
