Each of our clubs retain independence and administers its own governance and identity - we're here to be a empower and support whatever your ambitions may be.

From 2020/21, memberships are changing, both because of the introduction of Imperial Athletes and due to COVID-19. In order to join a club you'll first need to become an Imperial Athlete through a one-off annual membership fee of £25. This gives you access to:

• Entry into the inaugural Imperial Leagues
• Facility hire for training and Imperial Leagues matches
• Transport to training at Move Imperial facilities
• Return transport from Imperial Leagues matches
• Admnistrative support, including the booking of fixtures and space hire

This membership fee is not additional to the club fee you may have paid in the past - it is simply being administered separately. 

The year ahead

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, there will be no competitive sports in the BUCS or LUSL leagues for at least the Autumn term. However, our first intramural tournament, the Imperial Leagues, will provide us with an opportunity to return to sport in a social but adapted form in the Autumn term.

This will have an impact on memberships in 2020/21, with the process being distinguished by term. For the Autumn term, you'll pay a one-off fee to your club of £25 to become an Imperial Athlete. This grants entry into Imperial Leagues as well as all of the support we offer, including facility hire for training and intramural matches and transport to training at Move facilities. You won’t be limited to one sport as part of Imperial Leagues - instead being able to pick and choose whatever you're interested in.

In the Spring term, we anticipate that BUCS and LUSL will be able to resume a standard schedule. Only at this point will you be required to pay a club-specific membership fee, which will be reduced to reflect what you've already paid.
