    About Teresa

Hi everyone, and welcome to the Wilkinson family!

I’m Teresa, your Subwarden on the first floor. I’m currently in the third year of my PhD in Chemistry, where I focus on developing flexible and textile-based electronic devices for energy harvesting, thermal management, and healthcare applications using novel molecular materials. I also hold an MEng in Materials Science and Engineering with Textile Technology from the University of Manchester.

I’m originally from Jaén, a lovely small city in the south of Spain. Outside of research, I love spending time with friends, hiking, acting in theatre, and travelling. If you ever have any problems, want to organize an event, or simply fancy a chat, please feel free to drop by my room at the end of the first-floor corridor.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and hope you have an amazing first year at Imperial College and Wilkinson Hall!

    About Asia

Hi everyone, and welcome to Wilkinson Hall!

I’m Asia, your Subwarden on the Mezzanine floor. I’m currently in the third year of my PhD in Bioengineering, where I work on developing models for human hair research and investigating the effects of psychological stress on human hair follicles.

I also have an MEng in Molecular Bioengineering from Imperial, where I spent a year abroad in Singapore — one of the coolest experiences of my life! I absolutely loved my time there, especially exploring the culture, food and salsa scene.

Before coming to Imperial in 2020, I spent my whole life in a small city in Poland called Leszno. Outside of my research, I spend a lot of my time dancing salsa, both at Imperial as part of the ICDC society and at independent dance schools and events around London. I also love hanging out with friends and exploring the city.

Feel free to pop by my room if you have any problems, need some advice, or simply fancy a chat. I hope you have a fantastic first year at Imperial and Wilkinson Hall, and make the most of all the opportunities that university has to offer!
