Imperial Bursary

The Imperial Bursary is one of the most generous financial support scheme of its kind of any UK university. It provides support on a sliding scale to Home students with annual household incomes of up to £60,000 for every year of their course.

Subject-related scholarships

We have a wide range of scholarships available for students studying at Imperial, including the President's Undergraduate Scholarships. Our Scholarships search tool is designed to help you search for all available scholarships in one place.

The application process is different for each scholarship, so make sure you follow the instructions carefully for each award and take note of the closing date.

Sports scholarships

If you are aspiring to be, or already are, competing at national or international level you may be eligible for a sports scholarship. These cover a mixture of financial and practical support.

Ash Music scholarships

Exceptional musicians (Grade 8 Distinction) may be eligible for an Ash music scholarship for the chance to have instrumental or vocal lessons at the neighbouring Royal College of Music.

Physics studentGovernment funding

There is a range of funding available from the UK government to help you with your tuition fees and living costs. The funding you are eligible for will depend on where you're living, where you study and your own financial circumstances.
