The Institute of Systems Biology was launched at Imperial College London on 20th April 2007. Graduate students and junior researchers are invited to present their work in the form of a poster at the Symposium on Systems and Synthetic Biology that will take place at Imperial on 13 and 14 November. The symposium will focus on four themes:

1. molecular and cellular systems biology
2. systems biology of organs and physiological systems
3. technology
4. synthetic biology

Posters can however be submitted on any topic relevant to systems biology and synthetic biology. The best three posters will be short listed by an independent panel of experts and will be awarded a cash prize and a certificate.

If you intend to participate please submit your abstract and poster in electronic format to Dr Loredana Santoro: l.santoro@imperial.ac.uk no later than Monday 29th October.

Further information can be found on the Institute’s website http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/systemsbiology.
