Assessment formats vary by module, and your lecturer will provide module-specific guidance. Where written work is required, assignments are usually submitted via Turnitin on the VLE. Uploading your file to the VLE is straightforward, but things can sometimes go wrong. Where there are alternative assessment formats, such as presentations, creative work, or participation, you should follow the brief carefully and make sure you understand both the task, and the submission methods, as outlines on the VLE. If in doubt, as your lecturer.

You should allow enough time for file upload, especially near deadlines, as they can take several minutes. You are responsible for ensuring your work is submitted successfully and on time.

Late or non-submissions will be penalised as per the university policy.

For information on how to apply for a Coursework Extension prior to the deadline, please see the Coursework Extensions webpage.

If you have a serious problem affecting your performance on your I-Explore or Horizons module, including the submission of your coursework, please see the Mitigating Circumstances webpage.
