Key Information
Tutor: Representation Coordinator, Sarah Azam (Deputy President Welfare at ICU) and Jacob Ayre (Deputy President Education at ICU), in collaboration with Faculty and ECRI staff.
In the Representation Essentials session, you will be provided with information and training on the following:
- An introduction to ICU, ECRI and key faculty staff.
- The Postgraduate Representation Committee and it’s structure.
- An overview of Representation and its importance.
- An overview of Wellbeing and what support Reps can offer.
- How Reps will be rewarded.
At the end of this session you will have developed:
- a working relationship with other Reps, the Union.
- an ability to work with Faculty staff.
- an understanding of your role & responsibilities.
- an understanding of the context of the current PG representation structure and where you sit within it.
- an appreciation of why Representation is important.
- Learnt about the different wellbeing support you can offer and what boundaries you should set.
- Learnt about the different opportunities for Reps throughout the year.

- PG Representation Essentials - Wednesday 28th October, 12:00-14:00 in MR1 , Imperial College Union (all PG reps)
