Committee remit and terms of reference
The Committee supports the University Management Board (UMB) in having strategic responsibility for the oversight of risk management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. The Committee will receive assurance from responsible officers that Imperial has in place effective frameworks, policies and processes to support the effective management of these key areas. The Committee will provide strategic direction to responsible officers for the purposes of improving institutional resilience and compliance on the matters within its remit. On behalf of UMB the Committee will review the University’s Risk Registers regularly and lead Imperial’s Risk Horizon Scanning Programme.
