Scrap metal is collected weekly from a number of points across South Kensington campus. All scrap metal - if disposed of correctly - is fully recycled.

- Bone Building: courtyard
- Blackett Building: loading bay
- City & Guilds Building: stores (for City & Guilds Building only)
- Sir Alexander Fleming Building: loading bay
Please ensure that off-cuts are placed in the suitable containers and that whole items are stacked neatly and safely.
Scrap metal and electrical components
Waste electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed of via specific routes, separate from scrap metal, as mandated by UK legislation. It's essential that no electrical or electronic components are included in any scrap metal you are disposing of; these instead can be requested via our specialist waste collection service.
