If you're planning a refurbishment or building project in your department, we're here to help.
What is a minor work?
Any building project that costs less than £150,000 is defined as a 'minor work'; it must be approved by the Property Division in coordination with your Building Manager.
Projects that exceed £150,000 are generally overseen by the Capital Projects team.
What do I need to do?
Before beginning a minor works project, you'll need to:
- Contact your Building Manager. Reach out to our team to discuss your project and we'll arrange a meeting to understand your needs.
- Submit the required information. We'll need some details about your project, including its scope, timeline, and budget - all documents are accessible below.
Submitting information about your project
Once you've spoken to your Building Manager, you'll need to submit some information about your project. What we require varies depending on the scope and nature of your project.
