Key events
Our department holds regular (hybrid) seminars which you are welcome to attend. Information will be circulated to you via our comms throughout your time with us. Students are also invited to Departmental Social Events such as the Christmas Party and the Summer Party.
Graduation will be held for undergraduates students in October each year. Graduation for PGT (masters students) will be held in summer 2026.

After you complete your programme
ICT access
- You can access your Imperial email for 6 months after your award/conferral date only by using your Imperial Microsoft 365 account.
- You can access your files saved in your Microsoft OneDrive only for 3 months after your conferral date. Please make sure you back up all your files from your OneDrive to another location before this date.
- Access to eLearning applications (Virtual Learning Environment) and Lecture Recordings (Panopto) will continue for 6 months after your conferral date.
Alumni
In the months after your award/conferral date, you will receive an email offering you the opportunity to activate your free interactive online alumni account, Imperial Plexus platform.
You can use it to network and reconnect with alumni, register for events, browse a collection of online resources, watch career development webinars, set up your alumni email address and gain access the Library and Student Union Bar via a downloadable app.
