[21/12/15] Congratulations to group members Andreas Nold and Michael Dallaston for their pictures which were selected as star entries at the 2015 TYC Christmas Card Competition.

[07/12/15]  Professor Serafim Kalliadasis together with Professor Grigorios A. Pavliotis (Imperial College), Professor Johannes Zimmer (University of Bath), Dr Michela Ottobre (Heriot Watt University) and Dr Ben Goddard (University of Edinburgh) organised an International Workshop on Molecular Dynamics at the Imperial College London, UK, on December 7th through to  December 10th 2015. The workshop placed a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to Statistical Mechanics including Molecular Dynamics. It brought together researchers from different communities (Chemists, Engineers, Mathematicians and Physicists) to discuss recent advances, ongoing research activities and open problems related to Statistical Mechanics and its numerous applications in natural phenomena and technology. The workshop was supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
