Project Title: Closed-Loop EEG with Temporal Interference Stimulation
Supervisor: Dr Nir Grossman, Professor Timothy Constandinou, Dr Christos Papavassiliou
Location: Level 7, Sir Michael Uren Hub, White City Campus, 86 Wood Lane, W12 0BZ
About Me
I am a PhD student in the Grossman laboratory in the Department of Brain Sciences and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering within the UK Dementia Research Institute centre at Imperial College London. My project is focused on the application of electronic engineering principles to Temporal Interference (TI) stimulation with EEG in order to investigate direct and reproducible effects of TI stimulation in closed-loop paradigms and otherwise.
I moved to London from Ireland in 2022 in order to study an MSc in Integrated Circuit Design with the Electrical Electronic Engineering department at Imperial. I got introduced to the Grossman Lab as part of my Research Project for the MSc. I was inspired to contribute to the emerging development of TI stimulation in the effort to development meaningful treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
My interests and passions outside of studies include religion, music, history and hobby electronics projects.
