Deciding whether to do a PhD could be difficult. Understanding your motivations and options are essential to making an informed choice. This course is composed of a series of lectures delivered by different speakers (Careers Consultant, Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI) Tutor and PhD students) exploring whether one should begin a PhD, life as a PhD student, and the options after obtaining a PhD.
This course is open to all Master's Students.

- Identify the motivations, benefits, and challenges associated with undertaking a PhD.
- Recognise the experiences and expectations of life as a PhD student.
- Evaluate whether pursuing a PhD aligns with your personal, academic, and career goals.
- Explore the career pathways available after a PhD.
