Your fellowship research is very important to you, but how does this fit with the funder’s ambition of impact?

Can you clearly articulate the different types of impact your fellowship will be having? How do you maximise your chances of really having an influence in your areas of interest?

In this course we will look at why research impact is critical to funders and how to articulate potential impact and its maximisation in a fellowship application. 

This course is designed for research staff planning to apply for a fellowship and is also open to doctoral candidates aiming for an academic career. 

Aims

  • To understand what fellowship research impact is and why it matters to the funders and different stakeholders
  • To explore how to create impact from your proposed research
  • To learn how to evidence impact and demonstrate how impact activities make a difference
