Are you interested in hearing more about what it is like to study for a research degree at Imperial?
If so, register to attend our upcoming event taking place on 12 November 2025 from 14.30 – 16.30 at the South Kensington Campus
This special event is primarily designed to support Minority Ethnic students who are considering pursuing a PhD at Imperial. It is open to both undergraduate and Master’s students from Imperial as well as from other institutions to attend. The event is free of charge.
You will hear from current Imperial postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers, who will talk about their journey through education, their experiences of studying at Imperial and their top tips. There will also be a panel of staff who will provide you with information about the practicalities of applying for a postgraduate degree at Imperial and funding opportunities. Finally, there will be information about other support available to you at Imperial, such as mentoring opportunities, professional development and dedicated student and staff networks. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions throughout the event. Following the panel Q&A, there will be a networking reception, giving you the chance to meet other staff and students and make connections.
