Academic’s Success guide
Explore our toolkit and resources for probation, promotion, and progress.
The ECRI team is here to support you in guiding your research staff and students throughout their time at Imperial. Alongside the Talent team from the People Function, we have developed a set of resources to ensure you have the information and tools needed to support your role effectively.
As outlined in the Researcher Development Concordat, line managers of research staff (including postdocs and fellows) are expected to:
- Encourage and support their staff to engage in professional development
- Help them build their research identity and leadership capabilities
- Ensure they have a minimum of 10 days pro rata days per year dedicated to professional development activities
To help you meet these responsibilities, we offer tailored resources on topics such as the 10 development days and Annual Review Conversations.
We encourage you to explore these resources and make full use of the support available to you as a line manager.
