Supervised by: Professor Stefanos Zafeirou

He joined Imperial College London in 2016 to complete a Master of Engineering, and later returned in 2020 to undertake his PhD.

What is he doing now: He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London where he develops Generative Foundation Models for Biosignals to enable the next generation of Brain–Computer Interfaces (BCIs). His research sits at the intersection of deep learning, signal processing and computational neuroscience, focusing on real-world challenges in AI-driven human–machine interaction.

Alongside his doctoral work, he gained industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cogitat, where he developed EEG-based machine learning systems that received coverage from major media outlets including BBC, Sky News and The Time. This experience strengthened his ability to translate cutting-edge research into impactful real-world applications. Beyond research and engineering, he has been actively engaged in the academic community. He has co-organised initiatives such as the London Geometry and Machine Learning Summer School (LOGML), led the Imperial Computing Conference for four years and served in roles including PhD Student Representative, Postdoctoral Representative and member of Equity, Diversity and Culture Committee. These experiences have deeply shaped his perspective on leadership, collaboration and community in research.

He is generally passionate about advancing AI systems that expand human capability.
