Can I use the gym straight away once registered as a Staff Member at Ethos?

Once you've purchased your BasicClub Imperial or Club Imperial Gold membership, you'll be asked to complete a brief online safety induction. Once this is completed, you'll then be able to book your first sessions at the gym.

When is the start date of my membership?

Your membership will start the day you join online.

 

How do I cancel my membership?

If you have a Basic Staff Membership or Club Imperial Membership, your membership can only be cancelled online on the Ethos Memberships System. Just follow the on-screen cancellation process. 

Cancellation can be done at anytime but will not come into effect until the membership's 3 month contract obligation period has been completed.

Cancellation must be done prior to the 27th of any given month to prevent payment being taken on the 24th of the following month via the usual payroll deduction process.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my Club Imperial membership?

In order to upgrade/downgrade your membership please cancel your current membership online and purchase new one.

How do I renew my membership?

All membership can be renewed online using the Ethos Membership System two days prior to their end date. If your membership has passed its end date, you will then need to re-join online using the Ethos Membership System.  

Can I freeze my membership?

Staff members cannot freeze their memberships.

What sessions do I need to book in advance?

You'll now need to book any session at Ethos in advance using our online booking system. This includes gym and pool bookings, as well as classes and other activities.

Please ensure you check-in using the screens in our entrance when you arrive.  

How do I make a booking online?

  1. Select 'Activities' for sports hall activities or squash; select 'Classes' for gym and pool session or fitness classes.
  2. Search for the activities/courses that you would like to book
  3. Select the date and time and the available spaces will be displayed
  4. Add the desired time to your basket and proceed to check out 

How far in advance can I make a booking?

Bookings can be made up to six days in advance using the Online Booking System

How many activities or classes can I book at one time?

Bookings are limited to three per day and a maximum of 21 in a seven day period. This is for all bookings including a combination of squash, sports hall activities or classes. 

Can I cancel a booking online?

What is the bolt-on fair usage policy?

If you book an activity and fail to attend three times, your membership will be suspended for a week.

Can I bring a guest?

Members are not permitted to bring guests to the centre.

Can children use the facilities at Ethos?

Children are permitted to use the pool from 09.00 - 11.00 on Saturdays and Sundays. You must be 16 years old or over to use the gym.
