Are you starting your journey in healthcare innovation and want to seek advice from experts in the field? Do you have an idea to improve health or care but don’t know where to begin?

As we approach the launch of IGHI’s 2020/21 Health Innovation Prize (formerly known as our Student Challenges Competition), we’re giving UK university students the opportunity to hear from three inspiring healthcare innovators.

You’ll hear from:

  • Professor Julia Riley, Consultant in Palliative Medicine at the Royal Marsden, Founder of Co-ordinate My Care and IGHI Visiting Professor
  • Dr Saira Ghafur, Digital Health Lead, Centre for Health Policy, IGHI, Co-Founder of Psyma Mental Health Technologies Ltd
  • Sam Tukra, PhD student, Department of Surgery and Cancer, Founder of Third Eye Intelligence and the 2019/20 winner of IGHI’s Health Innovation Prize

Our speakers will tell you about their journeys in establishing their startups including the highs and lows, and their top tips for becoming an innovator. You’ll also have the chance to ask our panel your questions.

This event is open to all UK university students.
