Why do we get ‘gut feelings’? Are we really what we eat? What is good gut health and how can we achieve it? Scientists from the frontiers of gut and nutrition research answer your questions in our Reddit AMA.

Our gut is a central signal organ for the rest of the body. Far from just digesting, it plays a huge role in health and disease, as well as influencing the way we eat, think and feel. It is home to a trillions of bacteria, collectively known as the gut microbiome, which perform complex processes and interactions that we still don’t fully understand

Join us on Reddit to put your questions to gut researchers Gary Frost, Julian Marchesi and James Kinross, who are looking at the multifaceted role that the gut plays in health, nutrition and disease.
