Developing cancer is associated with a wide range of environmental, lifestyle and genetic factors. However, these known risk factors do not completely account for the incidence of specific tumour types or cancer overall. In this seminar two experts will talk about their work investigating the role of genetic factors in cancer using different methodological approaches, the interplay of genetics with other risk factors and how this research can be used in cancer screening.
