With the world facing the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, it is essential that ameliorative actions are aligned so that tackling one crisis doesn’t make the other worse. In this event, our Imperial experts will discuss the interrelationships between climate change and biodiversity loss, highlight areas where there may be risks of trade-offs and draw out win-win-win opportunities that help climate, nature and people at the same time. There will be a chance for you to ask questions and propose solutions, so bring along your ideas!

Sustainability Week: 21 – 25 March 2022

Organised by Sustainable Imperial and the Imperial College Union, this year’s Sustainability Week will be packed with panel discussions, talks and interactive events on sustainability at Imperial and beyond. We will be celebrating the Imperial research that is helping us transition to a zero-pollution society and looking at the action we’re taking on our own campuses to make Imperial’s operations Net Zero by 2040.
