HIV virus

To celebrate Disability History Month, the People and Culture committee in the Department of Infectious Disease present a special seminar series about the health impacts of chronic virus infections. This event is open to all staff and students who want to know more about the progress we’ve made in understanding these diseases and new developments for combatting them in the future. So come join us for an afternoon of talks by Prof Paul Farrell, Dr Aileen Rowan and Prof Alan Winston to learn why the work we do within DoID is so important.

To close, we will discuss what support College can provide to those living with long-term health conditions/disabilities and what we can do as a community, followed by mince pies!

This event will be held in person and online via Teams.
