Shixiong Wang received the B.Eng. degree in detection, guidance, and control technology, the M.Eng. degree in systems and control engineering from the School of Electronics and Information, Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management, the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2022. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Intelligent Transmission and Processing Laboratory, Imperial College London, London, U.K., from May 2023. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Institute of Data Science, National University of Singapore, Singapore, from March 2022 to March 2023. His research interests include statistics and optimization theories with applications in signal processing (especially optimal estimation theory), machine learning (especially generalization error theory), and control technology.

Jingzhi Hu received his B.S. degree at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and his Ph.D. degree at the School of Electronics at Peking University, in 2017 and 2022, respectively.
He is currently a postdoctoral research associate in Intelligent Transmission and Processing Laboratory (ITP Lab) at Imperial College London. Before joining ITP Lab, he worked as a research fellow at the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University.
His main research interests are semantic communications, machine learning, Wi-Fi sensing systems, and wireless sensing techniques for the Internet of Things. As the lead author, he has published twelve papers in prestigious IEEE journals, including JSAC, TWC, and TCOM, and have presentation in seven flagship conference proceedings such as ACM Mobicom, IEEE GlobeCom, and ICC. He is frequently invited to review for IEEE TWC, TCOM, TVT, and IOTJ, and has served as a TPC member for IEEE/CIC ICCC’17 and 18, and GlobeCom’24.
