On Monday 16th May 2022, the Department of Bioengineering launched the James West Scholarships scheme. The scheme will offer three fully-funded scholarships, mentoring and coaching to Black and Mixed-Black Heritage PhD students.
For the launch event, Kemi Aofolaju (Professional Services Co-chair of the James West Studentships Committee) gave a talk on the background of the scheme.
