Using real-world data from North West London, iCARE turns health and care data into actionable insights that can improve outcomes for patients and communities, while supporting a more effective and sustainable NHS.

iCARE researchers worked with clinical teams to explore how machine learning could identify more patients who smoke.

AI-assisted discharge summaries

iCARE researchers are exploring how Generative AI can support clinicians, improve the quality of discharge summaries and help shape the safe and responsible use of AI across the NHS.

iCARE uses multiple safeguards to protect confidentiality and ensure data is only accessed and used appropriately. Our approach follows the Five Safes framework, developed by the Office for National Statistics.
