Right thing, right bin
At Imperial, we want to create less waste and recycle more. Thoughtful consumption, buying less, choosing reusable, repairable and recyclable options, and sorting our waste into the right bin, all make a real difference.
What you can do:
- Read the signs on our bins to make sure you put the right thing in the right bin
- Use a refillable water bottle at one of our hydration stations
- Bring your own containers to our food outlets – enjoy discounts while helping save the planet!
What we’re doing:
- We’re working to make sure that the green choice is the obvious choice – with clear signage and policies. We’re also developing a new waste strategy with experts across the university to shape our long‑term plan.
