Project description

The study of how topological insulators interact with light is an exciting topic with much still to be discovered. By shrinking these unusual materials down to the nanoscale, in my work I study how topological insulator nanostructures interact with THz frequency light, with the aim of better understanding these systems and creating novel platforms for topological quantum optics and quantum information.
