Are you thinking of a career teaching in higher education?

Microteaching is a great stepping stone for aspiring educators. This course offers an opportunity to practice your teaching skills in a supportive environment.  If you are not ready to teach just yet, then you can join as a ‘student’ in the audience and learn through observing your peers.

During the course, ‘teachers’ deliver a 10-minute teaching session on a particular skill that students can learn and apply afterwards.  At the end of the delivery, participants will provide constructive feedback to the ‘teacher’ to help develop their teaching skills.

Spaces are exclusive, with only five spaces available for ‘teachers’ and 15 for ‘students’ in the course. ‘Teachers’ will be provided with additional support & resources to prepare for the session. When registering, please indicate whether you will be a ‘teacher’ or as a ‘student’ in the session.

This course is open to Research Degree Students, Postdocs & Research Fellows.
