This course gives an introduction to Imperial College London Library resources and information services designed specifically for first year research students. Key areas covered include:
- How to locate and access information resources using the library search and other search tools
- Selected multidisciplinary databases for conducting citation analysis and searching literature from worldwide sources
- Accessing full text content including Open Access journals
- How to get help and support from library staff
- How to get materials from outside the Imperial collections
This course is open to Research Degree Students, MRes, Postdocs & Research Fellows.
