Pride takes place every June and celebrates LGBTQ+ people and communities. Pride commemorates the Stonewall riots of June 1969 in New York.

Please join us in CPB for a rainbow friendship bracelet making workshop. We have threads available in colours corresponding to the LGBTQ+ flags, and soft drinks refreshments. No experience necessary and all materials provided
Pride Month Bake Off

The Silwood Social Committee are organising a Pride Month Bake Off in Oak/Birch. With prizes for the best bake and most pride, we cannot wait to see your rainbow bakes and show stopping crowd pleasers. Please join us whether or not you have entered a bake!
Chemistry Pride Symposium

The Department of Chemistry is hosting several short talks where the speakers will tell us about their experiences in academic/work environments, their view on how to improve equality and visibility, and about their work (in a non-technical way).

Previous years
A range of events have taken place for Pride Month, including talks, social meet ups from Imperial 600, training sessions, and film screenings such as LIVING OUR LIVES, a journey across cultures to discover stories born from the adversities faced by LGBT+ people of the world, from director David Luis Perez Magan, Colourist in Imperial's Ed Tech department.
