We are excited to invite you to our monthly networking and research sharing meetings hosted by the Mohn Centre. This series of informal gatherings aim to bring together academics from all levels and backgrounds to collaboratively discuss ideas and explore ways to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in urban environments.

This month’s session will feature talks relating to the Mohn Centre’s data linkage theme.

  • Puji Faitna – From Adversity to Resilience: The Story of Early Life Challenges and Positive Mental Health
Puji will discuss her first idea for her PhD, exploring how positive parental mental health can impact the trajectory of child mental health using Australian and UK data. Puji is also interested in exploring how this differs by socioeconomic position and country.

  • Dr Rakhee Shah – Evaluating the annual learning disability health check for young people in England – An MD(Res) Project Proposal

  • Dr Arrash Yassaee – Next-generation medical software – applications in paediatrics
Introducing key concepts underpinning the Software-as-Medical-Device industry and outlining how some of this is changing/will change with new generation software, and what the associated research challenges.

We look forward to welcoming you and hearing the discussion.

Please note these meetings occur on the last Tuesday of every month. If you have a presentation idea or would like to host a session on a particular topic please contact mohncentre@imperial.ac.uk.
