The Employee Relations team is responsible for managing formal procedures related to disciplinary and grievance issues, advise on restructuring and change management issues and redundancies.  The team also manage the College‚Äôs internal mediation service and take forward facilitated conversations in an effort to resolve disputes informally.  The team supports decision makers (such as disciplinary panel chairs) in ER cases, providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations issues to all faculties and support services.

The HR Policy team are responsible for developing policies and procedures and working with stakeholders across the College to ensure that they are effective and compliant with College policy and strategy, and with any legal or regulatory requirements. 

Support for staff involved in these processes is provided by the Staff Hub or Strategic Support team, ensuring a demonstrable separation of duties between the effective management of the processes and adequate support for those directly affected.

The Employee Relations and HR Policy team is based on Level 3, Faculty Building, South Kensington Campus.  The Employee Relations and HR Policy team is led by Ann Kelly, Deputy HR Director - Employee Relations and Policy.
