Library Space

The Central Library at South Kensington is open 24 hours
(Except - closes from 23:00 Friday evening until 10:00 Saturday morning)

Union Space
The Student Union at Beit Quad (just across the road from Blackett Lab) has meeting rooms available for students to book:

Student Meeting Rooms in Computer Suite

There are three small meetings rooms at the back of the Computer Suite available for students to book through the Student Administration Office. You can stop by the Student Admin Office to book in person or send an email to:

Student Social Space in Computer Suite
All students can study in the social space adjacent to the Computer Suite.

Computer Suite
The Computer Suite is available for all physics students to use for study except when it is reserved for teaching. 

Blackett Level 2 & 3 Foyers
The foyer areas have been refurbished to provide flexible study space for students to use throughout the day.

Blackett Room 328 - Quiet Study Room
All students can study and work in the quiet study room on Level 3, next to Lecture Theatre 1. This is a quiet study room and would not be suitable for group or interactive work.

Blackett UG Common Room
Students can use the UG Common Room on Blackett Level 2 to study in, but study is not it’s primary focus and there might be noise.

Blackett Level 2 Study Corridor
This room can be found off the foyer area, parallel to LT1 and has a number of tables available for study.

Blackett Level 1 Study Corridor – Silent Study Space
All students can study and work in the quiet room on Level 1. This is a silent study space and would not be suitable for group or interactive work.

Blackett Level 1 Open Study Space – between LT2 & 3
Students can work in the study space between Lecture Theatre 2 & 3 on Level 1. This study space would be suitable for group or interactive work and has a blackboard.
