About Us
The London University Cycling Network - UniCycle - is a collaborative network for students and staff at London universities and higher education institutions who are passionate about cycling and cycling safety.
What we do
UniCycle brings together individuals based at London higher education institutions working on, campaigning for, or with an interest in, cycling and cycling safety to:
- Foster collaboration between universities to share knowledge, resources, and best practices.
- Advocate for safer cycling infrastructure on and around campuses and throughout London.
- Promote cycling and cycling safety among students, staff, and university leadership.
How we work
UniCycle is guided by a steering committee, made up of a representative from each participating institution. The committee meets several times a year to coordinate strategy and activities. We also organise regular network-wide meetings.
Most of the work happens in dedicated working groups organised around the network’s priorities. Join the network to find out more about our working groups!
Why join UniCycle?
- Make a Difference: Help for safer and better facilities and infrastructure for active travel
- Build community: Meet like-minded people at your institution and across London
- Stay informed: Keep up with the latest developments in cycling policy, infrastructure, and events
