The Spring 1 Day Research meetings on Advanced Ceramics (1-DRAC), took place the 7th of April at Imperial College, room G20 of the Royal School of Mines.

We had members for all around the Europe, from academia and companies atending:  Loughborough University, Queen Mary University of London, Oxford University, Birmingam University, Erlangen University, Leicester University, University of Mancherster, Rolls Royce, Safran, Lucideon...

The meeting was organised with the support of the Ceramics Society division of IOM3 and the help of Margaret Wegrzyn

This year’s spring meeting was held in conjunction with the UK heat of the European Ceramic Society’s speech competition. The winner was Chang Shu (from Birmingham University), that presented her work titled: "A phase diagram study of (Ba, Ca) (Zr, Ti) O3 piezoceramics from combining structural and functional measurements".

The price is the free attendance to the European Ceramic Society meeting in Budapest, (9-13 July 2017, Budapest, http://ecers2017.akcongress.com/).
