Chief Financial Officer

Anna Caffyn

Anna Caffyn was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2026.

Reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer, Anna is a member of the University Management Board and responsible for the financial stewardship of Imperial, our financial strategy and leading the university’s Finance division.

Anna joins Imperial from the Environment Agency where she served as Finance Director.  Her career spans senior roles at HM Treasury, HMRC, and the NHS, where she has driven transformation, improved financial reporting, and championed innovation.  Anna’s experience brings a collaborative, strategic approach and a strong track record of empowering teams and delivering results.
