The purpose of the SMO Governance structure is to: 

  1. Enable the SMO to acquire the information needed to deliver accurate and regular status updates to the UMB and Council on programme level implementation.   
  2.  Be helpful, supportive and deliver value to the initiative leads by providing opportunity to identify solutions to barriers and share best practice and knowledge. 
  3.  Enable effective decision making at appropriate organisational levels.
